The situation today
Units of the Ministry of Interior, municipalities and the police today mostly detect wanted plates and violations through fixed license plate recognition points, visual checks by patrol teams or later review of camera recordings. What falls short:
- Detection cannot be performed on streets, neighborhoods and routes not covered by fixed points.
- Parking violations and wanted vehicles are noticed only if a team happens to pass that spot.
- Visual checking is a slow, inconsistent method that leaves no record.
- In parking operations, entry and exit are mostly handled with fixed cameras or manual records.

Operating principle
- The camera is mounted on the windshield or dashboard so that it sees the road ahead of the vehicle.
- The edge device starts automatically the moment the vehicle begins its duty.
- Plate reading is done on the edge device in the vehicle; raw images are not sent to the center.
- Every plate read is matched with a GPS location and timestamp.
- Data is transferred to the cloud and the central software via a GSM module.
Wanted plate detection
The wanted plate list is entered into the central software via API from the institutional database or by uploading a manual list. The list is sent to the edge device and matching is checked instantly in the vehicle. When there is a match, an instant notification with plate, location and time information is sent to the center. An alert to the team inside the vehicle can be added depending on the system design.
Violation detection
Parking violations, restricted zones, bus stop violations and sidewalk parking are detected. Location is determined by GPS; areas such as restricted zones and bus stops are defined on the map and matched. The plate, photo, location, time and a short video are sent to the municipality and the police.
Parking integration
The plate recognition result is transferred to the parking software via API for entry-exit records, charging and subscription checks. The entry plate is matched against the subscription list; duration and fee are calculated at exit.
